Male Breast Reduction

Male patients may develop breast from multiple reasons, such as medications, weight, or glandular dysfunction. This may make the patient self-conscious about his appearance. This procedure will restore the chest contour and achieve improved symmetry.

This is an outpatient procedure done under general or local anesthesia. Depending of the patient anatomy, direct excision or liposuction would be used. For either procedure the scars would be minimal. Most patients can resume normal activities in 2 to 3 weeks and return to work in 3 to 7 days.
