Ear Reshaping in Honolulu Hawaii - Carl De Los Reyes
Patients with prominent or large protruding ears, lack of ear definition or shape irregularities due to trauma may benefit from ear reshaping techniques. The actual technique used will vary depending on the patient’s concern and anatomy. The purpose of this procedure is to obtain more naturally-looking ears.
This is an outpatient procedure done under general or local anesthesia. General anesthesia is recommended for children. The incisions are made behind the ear and are usually not visible. A head dressing is worn for 5 to 7 days at which time the patient may return to work or school.
